The custom domain you are trying to use has not been set up properly

If you are the owner of this custom domain and wish to use it with your wiki hosted at ShoutWiki, please follow these steps in order to set up your domain:

  1. Contact the Customer Support Team and let them know which domain you are trying to set up to use with ShoutWiki as well as what wiki you would like it to be directed to. If your wiki already has a community, you will need some form of community consensus that they wish to use a custom domain instead of the shoutwiki.com subdomain. Only if your request is approved should you continue on to steps 2 and 3.
  2. Edit your domain's DNS and insert a CNAME record from your domain name to the subdomain.shoutwiki.com that you wish to point your wiki at. If you want www.yourdomain.com to work, make sure that www is set to CNAME either yourdomain.com or your subdomain.shoutwiki.com as well.
  3. Notify the customer support team that you have made these changes.
  4. Please allow up to 48 hours for the custom domain to start working after your custom domain request is approved and after making the DNS changes. If you have issues accessing your wiki from the custom domain, try flushing your DNS cache.
