All of a sudden the edit button on every page on my Wiki disappeared. Entering the URL just takes me to the view source page.

I am logged in. I am the owner of my Wiki.

Fix it. Now.

EDIT: Banning me from the IRC can't be done, I am on a public computer, unban me or else I will use a proxy to bypass the ban and ask how long this is going to take to fix or I'll spam everyone. This needs to be fixed, and it needs to be fixed right fucking now, got it? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Netkeeper (talkcontribs) 20:03, 15 August 2016‎ (UTC). We don't appreciate this kind of behaviour. I suggest you refrain from making these threats, and rethink your language or you'll be looking at more than a ban from our IRC channel.
You've already been told we're looking into it. To quote you, from Forum:Unacceptable. - In order to use a Wiki people need to be able to edit it. We're well aware of this fact. However the more time we have to spend stopping you being disruptive is less time we'll be spending trying to figure out what is a rather complicated issue. There are very few organisations that run MediaWiki on the size or setup we do.

I don't really care what you appreicate because you're not fixing it, and you're not answering my question on how long I need to wait. I will, but would rather not, refresh the p[ages over and over until I can edit again. You don't wanrt me doing that, it will piss me off even more than now, and people are scared of me when I'm mad, so you probably don't want this.

Just turn editing back on, god damn, stop excuses. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Netkeeper (talkcontribs) 20:17, 15 August 2016‎ (UTC). Please sign your posts with --~~~~!

Saftzie, who are you and why are you editing my stuff without A) My permission B) Not saying anything to me? Go fix this if you're staff. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Netkeeper (talkcontribs) 20:27, 15 August 2016‎ (UTC). Please sign your posts with --~~~~!

Your "stuff" hasn't been changed. --Saftzie (talk) 22:02, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
Hi Netkeeper, I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues accessing your wiki. Alas, this is a larger-scale issue than what it appears to be, and we're not sure what's causing it, so fixing it isn't unfortunately as simple as "just doing it". Rest assured that we're working on it as we speak! It's extremely unfortunate that the production setup broke as massively as it did, but this wasn't something we could've forseen as everything worked finely in our tests.
Please be patient and bear with us as we try to resolve this issue as soon as possible. There is no reason to start making threats. We understand that you're angry — I am, too, as one of the engineering staff who worked on the upgrade prior to its rollout earlier today, but it doesn't give you any right to threaten anyone with anything. While we're trying to figure out just what is breaking MediaWiki, I suggest you spend some quality time reading our terms of use and privacy policy. --Jack PhoenixShoutWiki Staff (Contact) 20:27, 15 August 2016 (UTC)

Do you mean to say this is happening across EVERY wiki? This is strange because there are NO indications of problenms being presrnt ANYWHERE, not on the shoutwiki blog, not on the front page, the news, anything. There was nothing informing me this would be a mass issue. Yourt first priority should have been rolling a newspost onto the main page to inform all users because I wouldn't be here if you had, I checked both places before desperately seeking someone to scream at in my frustration, learn from this

You didn;t give me any ETA by the way, this is the third time I have asked

In fact if you were conducting any maintenance at all you should be informing your userbase. Not doing so is irresponsible. I'm surprised there aren't a ton of people with me here because you haven't done so, or you're lying and only I have this issue, but I'm not self-centred enough to think that just menally fucked up enough to be paranoid in thinking it could be the trruth.

Seriously. I cancelled other things so I could spend today on my wiki, and here I am, not able to use my damn wiki. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Netkeeper (talkcontribs) 20:34, 15 August 2016‎ (UTC). Please sign your posts with --~~~~!

I've locked Forum:Unacceptable. and Forum:Why can I edit this site but not my wiki? with references to this thread. Follow-up discussion, if it is actually discussion, should occur on this thread or on your talk page. --Saftzie (talk) 22:15, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
