Been meaning to ask about this a long time. Where is the strip of wiki markup tags that is available in the edit window of Wikipedia? In those edit windows it is available via the dropdown menu at the bottom of the edit window. It is listed as "wiki markup" in the dropdown menu. --Timeshifter (talk) 02:56, 30 March 2014 (UTC)

Hi, I will give my opinion that possibly you ayude.En this forum (for example), at the time I write this review, sale tag "community help". Unfortunately we do not think you can do more than the necessary pages.Thanks in advance.--Libros (talk) 07:08, 21 April 2014 (UTC)

noinclude and includeonly are generally used inside templates.
  • You should use <noinclude>"your text here"</noinclude> when you don't want to see the text between the markup inside the article in which you use the template. For example, you want to see the template in the article, not the template's usage.
  • Regarding includeonly, that's the opposite; <includeonly>"your text here"</includeonly> won't appear in your template's page, but il will appear in the article in which you put your template. Usually you use this markup to hide templates using parser functions as you would see errors inside because you don't fill parameters in the template page but in the article. redirect is to be used alone with the right article address. Usually it's a shorter and usual article designation reffering to an article that has a more complicated name.
  • Syntax: #REDIRECT[[Name of the article's destination]]

Thanks for the info. Others will appreciate it. But I was just looking for a way to access their use fast. By clicking an edit window icon and having a set of noinclude or includeonly tags show up:
<noinclude></noinclude>
<includeonly></includeonly>

OK, I didn't get it. For this, you'll need to have the CharInsert extension, that you have on ShoutWiki. And then you can create the MediaWiki:Edittools page (only accessible for Administrators) and add something like this:
<!-- Text here will be shown below edit and upload forms. -->
<div class="plainlinks" style="margin-top:1px;border-width:1px;border-style:solid;border-color:#aaaaaa;padding:4px;">
Special characters:
<charinsert> æ Æ </charinsert>

Save it, refresh you browser and that's it! Enjoy! Cheers --LIMAFOX76 (talk) 06:42, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
Thanks. I will have to ask about getting that extension. Maybe it could be enabled for all wikis. I see that you work on some French-language wikis. I read a little French. It helps when checking out French cannabis sites. Along with Google translation. :) I could use some help updating the city pages for France, Belgium, etc. on the Cannabis Wiki. Feel free to help out anytime. --Timeshifter (talk) 12:58, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
