As you all know, ShoutWiki is upgrading to MediaWiki 1.35, and the Wiki Creator will hopefully be back up. However, I haven't heard any updates on the upgrade, and many people are asking an estimate on when it'll be done. I thought that by asking how close staff are to finishing, we can get an idea on how much longer we'll have to wait. Tali64^2 (talk) 19:10, 1 September 2022 (UTC)
- A better question would be how close they are to starting. Only they know. --Saftzie (talk) 18:59, 2 September 2022 (UTC)
- I wanted to say that that's unfair, but I do understand the frustration, and believe me, I share it as well. There are many bug fixes and great new features we all want to see rolled out. The big annoying thing here is the scheduled downtime and how upgrading all the 12760+ wikis takes time. Ideally you would be able to edit your wiki while huge wikis like Jedipedia or Brickipedia are being upgraded in the background, but as it is, all wikis are coupled together just a bit too tightly, so something like that isn't possible right now. :-/ --Jack Phoenix (Contact) 07:31, 14 September 2022 (UTC)
