Got SocialProfile activated on my wiki, wanted to use it to make a forum but there's no information on how to do that. Forum here doesn't let you view source so that's not an option. Sunomi64 (talk) 12:10, 5 December 2016 (UTC)

I've replied to your support request via osTicket, but I'll post the same reply here just in case with a few amendments:
First off, the SocialProfile extension does not contain any kind of a forum system whatsoever. SocialProfile adds structured user profile pages, avatars, user boards, user-to-user gifts, awards (system gifts), user levels and friending & foeing. Slightly outdated screenshots of some of these features can be seen on this SocialProfile screenshots page on MediaWiki.org, and you can always try out the latest bleeding-edge versions of almost all social tools on http://social-tools.wmflabs.org/.
Our official help page about available extensions indeed doesn't mention any forum extensions, although we do have a couple available.
The first is DPLforum, a rather bare-bones forum system in use on several wikis, including ShoutWiki Hub: see Forum:Index for a live example and the MediaWiki.org infopage for more info. The other one is WikiForum which is more structured and resembles a "traditional" forum more than DPLforum.
If you want one (or both) of these extensions enabled for your wiki, let us know via Special:Contact and we'll be happy to enable it/them for you. --Jack PhoenixShoutWiki Staff (Contact) 09:57, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
